Hey readers (all two of you),
So here’s the scoop on why I aint been writin’.
I’m currently working on a production of Holes by Louis Sachar. I wont go into the details of the play except that it requires a bunch of middle schoolers to be digging in…. well…… holes. So I’m the set designer.
And the poster designer.
And the lighting designer.
And lead tech.
And calling the show.
And and impartial (sorry, had to be done).
Anyway, so since I have all these roles, I have to do a lot of work. The show opens on Thursday…. the set aint quite done as of yet. I was in all last Saturday…. and Monday….. and would have been Tuesday (not classes mon/tues) if not for the storm. And then guess what? I was in all this Saturday, and today, and the lights haven’t even begun to be queued. And then there’s the fact that we haven’t done a full run-through with the set, so I cant queue from a video. And the lights aren’t totally done yet. And I have a big project for English. And I have to keep up with Physics and Calculus. And I have college apps. to write. And I cant get as much done tomorrow as I’d like because Senior Halloween has lots of pointless stuff involved in it that they wont let me out of. I mean, I am all for writing thank-you notes to people, but cant I do that at a less stressful time?!
Well anyway, at least my app. for the CDIA is in. I should hear back by this week’s end.
Well I guess that’s enough for now, right?
(I wonder if anyone other than my brother and sister actually read this…. If you do, say something in the comments PLEASE!)

You know, a one page paper shouldn’t be so hard to write, yet here I am writing this instead of it.
It shouldn’t be that hard to line up to pieces of vellum (expensive graph paper for drafting), and trace stuff from my light plot of Hedwig from last year, yet I couldn’t seem to do it.
It shouldn’t be that hard to stop sitting around and actually do some work, yet I’ve been doing that since I finished the math and physics several hours ago.
*Sigh* Well, on the bright side, my dad bought me a new cloak to replace my old one. This one is black, and it goes well with my new brown and green staff. I love King Richard’s Faire!
Anyway, I should really go do some work, or study, or something.
(oh, and this should bump the damned picture away, and make the page look nice again :) )

So my new drafting equipment came in today :)
It’s a bunch of Staedtler stuff… triangles, lead-holder, compass, etc. I also got a tube thing that I can put my drafted work in…. much better than tape/rubber bands. Oh, and Marty made a trip to ALPS (Advanced Lighting Production Services) yesterday and got me a lighting template. Now I don’t have to borrow his to do my drafting… and this one has three scales for the price of one!
If none of that made sense, ask me to elaborate in the comments. At least then i’ll know if anyone actually reads this.
(One post to go till the sidebar comes back to the top!)

You know, I get the strange feeling that signing up for a Myspace was a bad idea…. even if I never intend to use it.
Oh well. At least its only 2 more posts (or so) till the sidebar on my blog fits again.

Woot!
So my Myst and Riven soundtracks came today! :) That means that I only have Exile and Revelations to buy now. Well, it’ll happen soon enough.
In other news, my set is more than a week behind schedule. I was supposed to have it loaded in by last Wednesday, but then I didn’t make the calendar. Actually, I’m fairly close to what I told Marty (the tech. director) at the beginning, but he didn’t want two load-ins on the same days……
I guess that’s a reason not to do the middle school show.
Oh, and to any Jewish readers, Happy New Year! I think I just ate too many bagels, but then I wasn’t fasting with the rest of my family.
That’s all for now… I think

Ok, so now I had to turn on word verification for comments since I got three bot comments within a few mins of posting that last one.
*sigh* again
(*checks if the big picture is off the front page yet*)
