Figures they go and schedule it on the last day of Into the Woods…. well at least its at 11 so I shouldn’t have a time issue….. too bad its at 11 so I can’t sleep in after the performance the night before ;p

I don’t know if you can see
The changes that have come over me.
These last few days I’ve been afraid
That I might drift away.
I’ve been telling old stories, singing songs
That make me think about where I’ve came from.
That’s the reason why I seem
So far away today.
Let me tell you that I love you
That I think about you all the time.
Caledonia you’re calling me
Now I’m going home.
But if I should become a stranger
Know that it would make me more than sad.
Caledonia’s been everything
I’ve ever had.
Now I have moved and I’ve kept on moving
Proved the points that I needed proving
Lost the friends that I needed losing
Found others on the way.
I’ve kissed the fellas and left them crying
Stolen dreams, yes there’s no denying
I’ve traveled hard with coattails flying
Somewhere with the wind.
Let me tell you that I love you
That I think about you all the time.
Caledonia you’re calling me
Now I’m going home.
But if I should become a stranger
Know that it would make me more than sad.
Caledonia’s been everything
I’ve ever had.
Now I’m sitting here before the fire
The empty room, the forest choir.
The flames have cooled, don’t get any higher
They’ve withered now they’ve gone.
But I’m steady thinking my way is clear
And I know what I will do tomorrow.
When hands have shaken the kisses float
Then I will disappear.
Let me tell you that I love you
That I think about you all the time.
Caledonia you’re calling me
Now I’m going home.
But if I should become a stranger
Know that it would make me more than sad.
Caledonia’s been everything
I’ve ever had.

“What do you mean ‘whoops’?!”
So earlier today I sat down to do some work (for the first time in about a week….. thank god Andrew comes back tomorrow). Well, I grabbed my files from my jump drive, and then I thrw it on my bed. Now, I thought to myself that maybe I should be at tad more carefull with a nice expensive 4 Gb jump drive, like putting back on the carabeener, or at least putting somewhere safer than the pile of papers on my bed. But I didn’t feel like moving the extra 5 feet to put it somewhere safe.
Well, later in the day I opened a package of Airheads, and piled the wrappers on my bed. Then I thought, ‘oh, I should do my trash now so that I don’t forget like every week and end up with a full trashcan after trash day!” So, I grabbed all the wrappers off the bed and dumped them in the trashcan… and poured all of that into the trash in the kitchen. So later in the day when I went to get dinner I noticed my jump drive was not on my carabeener with my flashlight; I went to grab it off the bed, and (shock of all shocks eh?) it was not there! So I searched everywhere I could think of, and then it hit me:
“Dad, what happened to that trash bag I started earlier?”
“Oh, I poured the trash from the rest of the house into it and then put it under a pile of other trash bags in the trashcan and put it in a bag of shreaded paper”
“Frack”
Well, I found it…. not quite sure how one might go about washing something like that. Maybe next time I will be more carefull with that sort of thing
Yeah……… I can dream right?

I have come to the conclusion that Battlestar Galactica got it right when they used the word ‘frack’ in place of the more commonly used term. I tried to find a video on Youtube to emphasize this point, but was unsucessfull. I intend to use (and have been successfull in using) this word where ever I used to use it’s less cool cousin.
Oh, and the new Celtic Woman CD is fracking awesome… especially the song “Dúlaman”
That is all.

“Hi, I’m Larry the shiverring chipmunk. Brrr, I’m cold, I need a sweater”
Sorry, stupid refference but I always use it. So my dad had these people come today to put insulation in the ceiling of the garage and the floor of the TV room to help with the heat in the TV room and his bedroom. Now I changed the setting on my heat last night so it wouldn’t turn on automatically at 7 since I wasn’t getting up then. Well, it turns out that when the insulation people started working in the garage, they hit a water pipe and my dad had to shut off the water to the heating system. So now my room is very very cold (the heat was set to kick in at 48 degrees, so its pretty damned cold).
Oh, and still no news for the URU launch, though Gametap did release the info on how to get a free ‘visitor’ account which gives access to a small portion of URU along with about 10 Gametap games..
But yeah… brrrrrrrrrrrr

(I love the ability to change the timestamp of poasts so they go up automatically when I want them to ;p)
Well, today’s the day. just a week over 3 years since it was cancelled the first time. 8 years (more or less depending how you count) since it was first started. Even longer since Myst originally came out. All of it leads to this day; the day when a new breed of online game officially goes live.
Myst Online: URU Live. All of us, the community, the developers at Cyan, the funders at Gametap and Turner, we all are super excited about today and what it means for the future.
A new age is being released today, and that is exciting. It is also most likely that the storyline will kick up a notch and thing will start becoming even more interesting…. like they were back in 2003. I’m so glad I’m going to be home to see this! (what? O_o… stop looking at me like that!)
