“… Its Very Rare.”
So, I just got back from the first hour or so of Costume! Dance! Party! (which is almost, but not entirely like a costume dance party). Of course, I went super early and got in under the premise of helping with LnL so as to not pay…. this, of course, was done so that I could leave when I got bored after an hour without feeling that I had wasted a dollar.
Anyway….. the Doctor was there. And I don’t mean me. Now, granted her scarf was much longer, but I DID knit mine myself. And you know whats funny? I was just talking to her in the cafeteria last night with a bunch of other people…… what crazy coincidences happen around here, eh?
Oh, and wool is very itchy…. maybe it will be less so when I am wearing a dress shirt and a big coat below it tomorrow. Oh(x2), and wearing a pocket watch works much better with a waistcoat than just on standard pants, at least imho.

Ironically enough (or something), whenever I look in the mirror it is plainly clear that I’m a much better fit for the Master. The goatee definitely helps in that regard…. but he is far less interesting to impersonate. But then I suppose these Timelords never know what they are going to get when they regenerate… especially if it was a botched regeneration, eh? Or better yet, maybe the Doctor and the Master were on a transmat platform and somehow their hair (including facial and color) were switched. Yeah, that could work, eh?
Now to figure out what to do with the case of Jelly Babies sitting next to me…. well, 2/3 of a case now. These things are quite good, even if they aren’t the original Basset’s brand.

So apparently, Alienware has now started a new service whereby people can trade-in their old computers (or other such junk) to get either an Alienware gift card of just a check. AND, if you trade in an Alienware system, you get $200 extra. So just for the fun of it, I put in the specs from my Alienware workstation…….. lets see, would I rather have the computer, or a check for 1/8th its value.
Yeah, like that’s a tough call!
Oh well, I guess I won’t be getting the Boxx Tech workstation too soon, eh?

So you may or may not have heard me ranting about the recently released game called Portal. Let me just say that this is by far the most enjoyable game I have played in a long time… maybe ever. Now, one of the best parts of the game is the song at the end…. and from listening to the integrated developer commentary (and I would have known if I had read the credits while said song was playing), I found out that it was written by the man: Jonathan Coulton! That explains why its so awesome.
So yeah, this game is totally amazing and everyone should at least give it a try. Even if you aren’t really a big gamer, find someone who has it and try it out.
Oh yeah, and did I forget to mention I’m on vacation for the next week? ;D
