I dream of taking flight in an ambiguous world filled with vague clouds and shadowed air…Then I wake up and forget the whole thing

Delicious

Have I mentioned how much I love living across from a Jewish bagel shop? I just stocked up: french toast bagels, tofutti, potato knishes, chocolate chip walnut banana bread, etc. I only wish they had chocolate chip bagels ready when i go.. the past few Mondays they’ve always been cooking when I’ve gone (or not even made yet). Of course, I plan to learn to make knishes, but for now its good to be able to just buy them :D

Oh, and you know those chirping crosswalk signals? The ones that let the blind know when to cross? Well, I just learned that when those things start to break, they sound like a duck that is choking on whatever bird was originally in the thing (*quack qua…chirp chi…quack pause garbled-quack) ;p

A Welcome Calm

I don’t want to say ‘lull’ there, because then it would just give the universe reason to make things suck.

Note to self, don’t slack off on IQP work and leave it until the week of the play… and the week of the Discrete Math midterm.

Shit.

Back In the Day

I used to like math. I really did! I would look forward to going to class (as much as one can look forward to a class). Now, though, I don’t.

Tofutti Is Delicious

September 16th, 2008 Kiirel

I love living across the street from a real bagel place ;D

Though, I did learn last night that fresh homemade cream cheese doesn’t last for a week (or has it been two). In fact, it turns bright and rainbow colored; it looks fun but I bet the result of consuming it would be anything but. Thankfully, I was only checking because it was trash night, and not because I wanted to use it.

Two i’s, Thats the Point

September 15th, 2008 Kiirel

So another publication from the Guild of Messengers. Unlike last time when someone else got credit for something that was a joint venture between the two of us, I got credit this time. Only problem was that the person writing the article spelled the name with only one ‘i’. And, that happened in a few other places (Flickr tagging for instance).

Oh well.

Oh, and I got an email yesterday from some guy working on some huge ARG project for the EU that has something to do with secondary school children and their teachers. He found the Havet site and contacted me (well, the admin, but *shrug*). He wanted ‘literature’ from our ARG, so (shortening conversations with other people in the middle), I gave him my postmortem and shuttled him off to Dean. Dean, of course, said he had already heard about this from another source, but he said he’d send the guy some stuff ‘when he has time’ (read probably never). Still, its kinda cool ;D
